The Cypress 200CPM Counter Pressure Canning Line is built for breweries and carbonated beverage producers that need high-speed, in-house canning with reliable fill control and lower oxygen pickup. With throughput up to 200 cans per minute, or approximately 12,000 12 oz cans per hour, it is designed for growing production teams moving beyond small or mid-speed packaging systems.
Using isobaric counter-pressure filling, the Cypress equalizes pressure between the product tank and the can before filling. This helps control foaming, preserve carbonation, reduce product loss, and support more consistent package quality for beer, cider, sparkling water, soda, RTD cocktails, kombucha, and other carbonated beverages.
The system combines 20 precision filling valves, 4 seaming heads, Siemens PLC/HMI control, Schneider variable frequency drive, SMC pneumatic components, NSK bearings, and centralized lubrication. A SUS304 stainless steel frame, tempered glass safety enclosure, and automatic bowl lifting system support sanitary operation, operator safety, and long production runs.
For producers scaling into commercial packaging, the Cypress 200CPM offers a strong balance of speed, automation, low-DO filling performance, and production efficiency. It is a practical choice for facilities that need consistent high-volume canning while keeping product quality, carbonation, and yield under control.

Q1: Who is the Cypress 200CPM canning line best suited for?
A: It is best suited for breweries and beverage producers that need high-speed in-house canning, consistent fill quality, and a scalable automated packaging system for commercial production.
Q2: How fast can the Cypress 200CPM run?
A: The Cypress 200CPM can process up to 200 cans per minute, equal to approximately 12,000 12 oz cans per hour under suitable production conditions.
Q3: What filling method does the Cypress 200CPM use?
A: It uses isobaric counter-pressure filling, which equalizes pressure between the product tank and the can before filling to help reduce foaming, preserve carbonation, and lower oxygen pickup.
Q4: Why is counter-pressure filling important for beer and carbonated beverages?
A: Counter-pressure filling helps control CO₂ breakout and foam during filling. This supports more consistent fills, reduced product loss, better carbonation retention, and improved package quality.
Q5: How many filling valves and seaming heads does this system have?
A: The Cypress 200CPM includes 20 precision filling valves and 4 seaming heads, supporting high-speed filling and secure can sealing.
Q6: What control system does the Cypress 200CPM use?
A: The system uses Siemens PLC and HMI control, combined with Schneider variable frequency drive components for automated and precise operation.
Q7: What can sizes can it support?
A: The system supports can heights from 60 mm to 180 mm, making it suitable for common beverage can formats, including standard 330 ml and 12 oz can sizes depending on setup.
Q8: What beverages can be packaged on this canning line?
A: It is suitable for beer, cider, sparkling water, soda, RTD cocktails, hard seltzer, kombucha, and other carbonated beverages.
Q9: Is this system suitable for low-DO packaging goals?
A: Yes. The counter-pressure filling method, exhaust oxygen device, and controlled filling process are designed to help reduce dissolved oxygen pickup during canning.
Q10: What maintenance features are included?
A: The Cypress 200CPM includes a centralized lubrication system to simplify routine maintenance and support reliable long production runs.
Let customers speak for us
from 6 reviewsI completed the second brew yesterday. The hop basket you made worked extremely well, and I was able to brew an IPA using homegrown hops.
Everything is functioning smoothly so far, and I think the brewing equipment is very well designed.
Thank you very much!
Best regards,
We couldn't be more impressed with the quality and service Wang and his team have provided us. Redwood Stainless engineers had no problem drawing and executing our custom tank design, which no one else would do. All of our tanks came outfitted with high quality fittings, valves, and carb stones. The welds are beautiful, and these fermenters are a real showpiece.
Having bought and operated several brewing systems now for our production brewery and brewpubs,we are continually impressed with the quality and customer service provided by Redwood Stainless Systems. They're adaptable and very willing to work with you to make sure you get exactly what you're looking for at very competitive pricing
Redwood has always provided me with the superior service that one can only hope for.I have been working with them directly for 5 years and have never been disappointed. Their customer service is great...Their engineering is great...Their fabrication is great. They are truly an invaluable resource not to be overlooked.
We are very satisfied with our tanks with no issues to date. No tank sweating, poor fabrication, or weld failures. We have not had any unsatisfactory or sanitary issues. We are satisfied with the product and will continue to order from Redwood Stainless.
Redwood Stainless, formerly DYM, is a fantastic resource for brewing equipment of every kind. At Culmination we have sourced tanks from several manufactures domestic and abroad and the Redwood tanks consistently outperform every other brand. They have been the workhorses of our brewery for a decade!
