Our Origins and Growth

Redwood was established in June 2022, headquartered in Walnut, California, with a mission to provide efficient, sanitary, and customized brewing equipment solutions for the North American craft beer market. Redwood was born out of years of industry expertise from Dalian Yongsheng Metal Structure (DYM). Since 2005, DYM has specialized in metal processing and manufacturing. In 2010, it expanded into the international market, earning wide recognition in the global craft brewing industry through its high-quality products and exceptional customer service.

The creation of Redwood was driven by the need to better serve the North American market. Our Walnut warehouse stores essential spare parts for DYM equipment, ensuring quick and convenient replacement and procurement services for both existing and potential customers. This allows us to maintain seamless and efficient production for breweries.

Industry Influence and Technical Expertise

Redwood inherits DYM’s extensive experience in brewing equipment design, production, and installation consulting. We emphasize customized solutions tailored to brewers’ unique processes, site constraints, and local regulations. Our efficient and sanitary brewhouse piping work, combined with outstanding customer service, has quickly established Redwood as a trusted partner in the North American market.

Our Leadership Team

Wang Yuan, CEO of Redwood, has been engaged in the machinery trade industry since 2000, with a background in Material Science. His passion for brewing led him to study brewing technology in 2010 and collaborate with specialized teams to develop equipment for small-scale craft breweries. Over the years, he has continuously refined brewing equipment and optimized processes. In 2022, he spearheaded the establishment of Redwood, dedicated to advancing the standards of brewing equipment in North America.

Jessica Zhao, Redwood’s Director of International Business, has a background in English and previously worked with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), contributing to the organization of China’s pavilion at the World Expo. Since joining DYM in 2013, she has focused on international market communication, playing a vital role in supporting Redwood’s global business expansion.
